Church 4 U - Tandle Hill Walk - by Natalie 22/06/2009 - 19:39

Hi, Just to say the next Church 4 U will be on Saturday 4th July. This will be the annual Tandle Hill walk and picnic. We will meet on St Matthew's car park at 6.30, walk up to our picnic spot, share our food and drink, play cricket and rounders and walk back. We will be back about 9.15 but probably an idea to let your parents know that you will ring to confirm the time as we always seem to take much longer ambling back than we plan.

Can you bring something for the picnic please.

Looking forward to seeing you for this Church 4 U tradition.

Can you let me know if you will be joining us?

See you then,
Natalie and the Church 4 U team

Leading Intercession Workshop - by WebMaster 02/07/2007 - 21:53

It is not too late to sign up for the leading intercessions workshop.  No previous experience of leading intercessions is needed,  just the desire to find out more.  If you come on the course you don’t have to sign up for leading intercessions in church (although of course I hope you will feel able to do so having seen how easy it is with all the resources available).  The intercessions at the Eucharist are the prayers of all God’s people, and I would really value others sharing in this part of our worship and ministry.

Parade Hymn Booklet Competition - by 23/03/2007 - 00:15

Design a front cover for our Parade Hymn Booklets

As our Parade Hymn Booklets are now well worn and require updating we would like some new designs for the Front Cover.  With this in mind we are arranging a Competition for all our Children, ie. Day School, Sunday School and Uniformed organisations to take part in various age groups as follows:

  • Under 7
  • Age 7 - 11
  • Age 12+

We would like the designs on A5 size paper handed in for judging by Sunday 29th April 2007 and the chosen designs will be displayed in the Narthex on Sunday 13th May 2007 (Parade Service). Prizes will be given for the best design in each age group.
