Thank you for visiting our website. As a church we seek to share the Gospel in Faith, Hope and Love; we are part of The Church of England and situated in the Archdeaconry of Rochdale within the Diocese of Manchester.  We are a vibrant, welcoming and inclusive church who care deeply about meeting the spiritual needs of our community by helping every individual on their journey of faith, at whatever stage of life they're at, so they can grow in the knowledge and love of God.  At St Matthew, we are also conscious of our responsibilities to our community, so we run a number of clubs and events to provide people with opportunities to socialise and raise money for very worthy causes in our locality.
