Thank you for visiting our website. As a church we seek to share the Gospel in Faith, Hope and Love. We are a welcoming and inclusive church who care deeply about meeting the spiritual needs of our community by helping every individual on their journey of faith, at whatever stage of life they're at, so they can grow in the knowledge and love of God. At St Matthew, we are also conscious of our responsibilities to our community, so we run a number of clubs and events to provide people with opportunities to socialise and raise money for very worthy causes in our locality. We are part of The Church of England and situated in the Archdeaconry of Rochdale within the Diocese of Manchester. If you'd like to know more about our history please visit our dedicated page.

Throughout the week, we have a wide range of services and activities for all the family to suit everyone's taste. There are many things you can get involved with, all of which can be accessed through our website. The Get Involved page is one way you can explore and learn more about our work and ministry as a church, as well as letting us know your interests and needs.
