Branch Meeting Tuesday 8th July 2025

Val took our service this week, with the bible reading read by Mavis. There weren't many notices this month, except that the Archdeaconry Festival will be held at St James, Milnrow on the 22nd July.

We were very pleased to welcome Clare and Phil Clark, who came to share with us a fascinating holiday they took last year to Chile, Argentina and Brazil. The pictures were stunning, the narrative was enthralling, and we all felt we had gained a little more knowledge of a different culture and countries!

A vote of thanks was given by Margaret, after which Phil set us a puzzle: how many flights had they taken and how many miles had they travelled, with a prize for the nearest. Frances was the nearest with 11 flights.

The meeting ended at 9:15 pm.

Our next meeting will be on September 9th.
