This was the first meeting after our summer break, and as always we began with our service, which Val took.

The notices on up comings events were given. Autumn Council will be on
Friday 3rd October at St John’s, Bury beginning at 10-30. The meeting is open to any member and is a good way to find out more about our worldwide organisation, and what is happening in Manchester and the York Province.

After a catch up with other members, we had a general knowledge quiz which caused a lot of brain searching and head scratching, but we all said we should have known the answers but didn’t. One of our main concerns is to have fun, and we did.
The meeting ended with a cup of tea and biscuit at 9 o’clock.

Our next meeting will be Tuesday 14th October.
